Take control of FTP transfers
WS_FTP Professional is an excellent 32-bit Windows FTP client. It provides two intuitive interfaces for easily transferring files and directory structures between FTP servers and your local computer: the classic WS_FTP interface and a new Explorer-style interface similar to My Computer. You can group select multiple files and/or directories and transfer them in a single operation. Features include firewall support, UNIX permission switches, basic transfer logging, and a comprehensive logging option. Many display features can be customized. An included Developer Kit enables you to develop custom FTP applications without having to do the Internet protocol coding to transfer the files. Other features let you store sites in folders, delete non-empty folders, use a wizard interface for adding new sites, and access a graphical interface for connecting to FTP sites. Also included is WS_FTP Pro Explorer, an extension for Windows Explorer that lets you transfer files via FTP. Full online help is provided.
